Blowback is one of the most effective and versatile carp fishing rigs.
The hook is fitted with an O-ring that moves freely along the hook shank. This allows the bait to slide backward (the blowback effect) when the fish sucks it in, ensuring a secure hook hold.
The rig is tied with a coated hooklink, stripped approximately 2 cm behind the hook. This allows the rig to move more freely, improving hooking efficiency.
Suitable baits for this rig: bottom boilies, “snowman” combinations, corn (plastic corn), wafters, or other similar presentations.
